Carlyn Patterson Gentile MD PhD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics, Director of the pediatric headache fellowship, and an attending headache specialist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the University of Pennsylvania. She is neurology lead of the Minds Matter Concussion Program and a Senior Fellow at the Center for Injury and Research Prevention at CHOP. Her clinical and research focus is in post-traumatic headache and migraine diagnosis in children. She has a PhD in visual systems neuroscience and is using this background to study visual discomfort and light sensitivity in concussion and migraine.
