Leon S. Moskatel, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Headache and Facial Pain in the Department of Neurology of the Stanford School of Medicine. He has published 29 peer-reviewed publications and the textbook “Comorbid Conditions in the Treatment of Headache.” He has served as an investigator on trials for the acute treatment of migraine and preventive treatment of cluster headache. His areas of interest include healthcare economics, prescription patterns of medications for migraine, and comorbid conditions seen in patients with headache disorders. Dr. Moskatel obtained his Bachelor of the Arts from Columbia University cum laude and his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego followed by a Headache Medicine fellowship at Stanford.
