Dr. Nwaobi is a Child Neurologist with sub-specialization in Headache Medicine. She sees both adult and pediatric patients at the UCLA Goldberg Migraine Program. She is a physician-scientist. Her laboratory focuses on the role of sleep in migraine and identifying overlapping phenotypes between autism and migraine.
Research interests: astrocyte physiology, migraine, adenosine signaling, cortical spreading depression, neurodevelopment, school-based approaches to migraine management
