Jie Fang, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Associate Chief Physician in the Department of Neurology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University in Xiamen, Fujian, China. His research and clinical interests focus on primary headache disorders, neuroimmunology, and neuro-ophthalmologic diseases. Dr. Fang serves in several academic roles, including membership in the Headache Branch of the Chinese Stroke Association and the Neurology Branch of the Fujian Medical Association, as well as executive committee positions in national and provincial neuro-ophthalmology and neuroimmunology societies. In recent years, his team has focused on glucose metabolism in migraine, with an emphasis on underlying metabolic mechanisms and translational therapeutic strategies.
