Detlef Albrecht, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Satsuma Pharmaceuticals, Inc., has over 30 years of experience in medical research and drug development in Europe and US and has developed multiple drugs for urologic, oncologic, neurologic, cardiovascular and pain conditions. Most notably, in the CNS and pain management areas, he was involved with the development of Concerta for ADHD, Durogesic (D-Trans fentanyl) for chronic and Iontysis (E-trans fentanyl) for postoperative pain.
