Dr. Michael Cutrer is a Professor of Neurology, a Consultant and the Enterprise wide Headache Division Chair at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Cutrer completed his Neurology residency at UCLA and a Research and Clinical Headache Fellowship with Dr. Michael A. Moskowitz at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He came to Mayo in 2001 after serving as the Director of the Partners Headache Center at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is interested in the Genomics of migraine and antimigraine therapy and is currently building a large deeply phenotyped migraine specific DNA repository.
