Cathleen Turnage, PsyD, is an Assistant Professor in the Departmet of Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University's Doernbecher Children's Hospital. She has subspecialty training in pediatric chronic pain and expertise in pediatric headache disorders. Dr. Turnage’s clinical practice is focused primarily on the assessment and nonpharmacological treatment of pediatric patients seen in the DCH Child and Adolescent Headache Program. Dr. Turnage is responsible for teaching fellows, residents, and graduate-level psychology students the discipline of psychological treatment and behavioral medicine for chronic pain disorders, with an emphasis on headache. Her research interests include familial factors associated with poor pain outcomes, nonpharmacological treatment of pediatric headache, and improving the quality of life for youth with migraine.
