Ami Z. Cuneo, MD is a Fellow in Headache Neurology at the University of Washington (UW). She graduated from Brown University’s Alpert Medical School and subsequently completed her Neurology residency at UW. Her research has focused on development of a visualization tool to help capture and track crucial aspects of each patient’s history, with the aims of improving patient-provider communication and visit efficiency. She also has been involved in the creation of a novel biofeedback/virtual reality device, to be used as adjunctive treatment for chronic migraine. Her further interests include medical student, resident, and healthcare provider education. She has completed a Scholarly Concentration in Medical Education at Brown University, as well as the Clinician-Educator Track during her Neurology residency.
