Chia-Chun Chiang, MD is an Associate Professor of Neurology, board certified Headache specialist and Stroke specialist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Chiang completed her Neurology residency and Headache fellowship training at Mayo Clinic Arizona, where she received the Manfred D. Muenter Award for outstanding performance during residency. Dr. Chiang also completed a Vascular Neurology fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. She received her medical degree from National Yang Ming University in Taipei, Taiwan. Her current clinical and research interest is employing artificial intelligence for headache disorders, and investigating the relationship between migraine and stroke association. Dr. Chiang received many prestigious award, including the 2024 American Headache Society (AHS) Harold G Wolff Award, the 2024 American Academy Neurology Harold Wolff-John Graham Award, and the 2022 AHS Early Career Award. Dr. Chiang currently serves as the chair of the Migraine and Vascular Special Interest Group of the AHS.
