Robert (Bob) Fountaine received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo and joined Pfizer in Groton, Connecticut in 2001. In 2023, Bob joined the CGRP migraine franchise and is the Global Clinical Lead for the NURTEC (rimegepant) and intranasal ZAVZPRET (zavegepant) adult clinical development programs. Prior to joinging the CGRP migraine franchise, Bob supported clinical development programs designing and conducting studies ranging from Phase I first into human studies through global Phase III registration studies in the metabolic diseases, pain and anti-viral therapeutic areas.
